Terms of service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of theprintgoods.com (the “site”) and any purchase you make through it. By using the site or placing an order, you accept these Terms. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the site.
Last updated: 2026.
1. Who we are
ThePrintGoods is operated by Nordic Content Group Oy, a registered Finnish limited company with Business ID (Y-tunnus) 3589679-1. In these Terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Nordic Content Group Oy.
2. Eligibility
To place an order on theprintgoods.com, you must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By placing an order you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Products and made-to-order
All products listed on the site are made-to-order — they are printed and assembled after you place your order, by our network of print-on-demand partners.
We work hard to display accurate product images and descriptions, but small variations are normal in printed apparel: minor differences in print position (typically within a few millimeters), slight variations in color depending on the fabric and printer, and tiny variations in fit between manufacturing batches. These variations are not considered defects and are not grounds for return under our standard return policy (see clause 7).
Garment colors on screen may vary slightly from the actual product, depending on your monitor settings.
4. Pricing and currency
All prices on the site are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices may change at any time, but the price displayed at checkout at the moment you place the order is the price you’ll pay. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time before an order is shipped — if a price is obviously wrong (for example, a $30 shirt listed at $0.30), we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
Standard shipping is free on every order. Express shipping is a $5 flat fee. Customs duties and import taxes (if any) are not included and are the customer’s responsibility, as is standard for cross-border e-commerce.
5. Order acceptance and cancellation
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We accept your offer when we send you an order confirmation email and begin production. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to: suspected fraud, pricing errors, products that have become unavailable, payment authorization failures, or shipping addresses we cannot serve. If we cancel an order, we’ll refund any payment in full.
You can request to cancel an order before production begins by emailing us immediately at contact@theprintgoods.com. Once production has started, we cannot cancel the order — but you still have the standard 14-day return right after delivery.
6. Payment
We accept payment via PayPal and via WooPayments (which processes major credit and debit cards on our behalf). All payments are processed by these providers using industry-standard security. We do not see or store full card numbers on our servers.
Your card or PayPal account is charged at the moment you place the order, not when your order ships.
7. Shipping, returns, and refunds
Detailed shipping terms are in our Shipping Policy. Detailed return and refund terms are in our Return Policy. Both pages form part of these Terms.
EU customers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer-rights rules for distance contracts. We extend the same window to non-EU customers as a matter of policy. The full process, conditions, and exceptions are described in the Return Policy.
8. Intellectual property
All content on theprintgoods.com — including designs, illustrations, logos, photos, product mockups, written copy, and the site itself — is owned by Nordic Content Group Oy or used under license. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
Buying a shirt does not transfer any intellectual property rights in the design — you own the physical product, but not the design itself.
9. User-submitted content (reviews, etc.)
If we add product reviews or other features that let you submit content in the future, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and reproduce that content in connection with promoting our store and products. You confirm that the content is yours, doesn’t violate anyone’s rights, and isn’t unlawful or abusive. We can remove user-submitted content at any time, at our discretion.
10. Acceptable use
When using the site, you agree not to:
- Place fraudulent or speculative orders (e.g., using stolen payment details).
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to break the site or its underlying systems.
- Use the site to harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone, including us.
- Submit false or misleading information at checkout or in customer support.
- Use the site to violate any applicable law.
If you do, we may suspend your access, cancel your orders, and pursue any legal remedies available to us.
11. Disclaimers and warranties
We make every effort to keep the site accurate and the products well-made, but to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site and the products are provided “as is” without any warranties beyond the statutory warranties that apply under Finnish and EU consumer law. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes consumer rights that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages (including lost profits or lost data), even if we’ve been advised of the possibility.
This clause does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law — for example, liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or statutory consumer protection rights.
13. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events outside their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, internet or carrier failures, or labor disruptions. If such an event significantly delays or prevents fulfillment of your order, we’ll notify you and offer either a delay or a refund.
14. Modifications to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the “Last updated” date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll make a reasonable effort to notify you. The Terms in effect at the time you place an order govern that order.
15. Severability
If any clause of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in effect, and the unenforceable clause will be replaced with one that comes as close as possible to the original intent within the limits of the law.
16. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your purchase will be resolved in the Finnish courts, unless mandatory consumer protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence — in which case those rights apply.
17. EU consumer dispute resolution
Consumers in the EU can also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, though we’d much rather hear from you directly first — most issues are easier to solve over email.
